When you become a member of CalGeo at UCLA, you will have a great opportunity to get to know many geoprofessionals that are part of our large network. These industry members are often from major geotechnical firms that may look to hire UCLA students in the future. It will also give you the opportunity to gain a strong understanding of what geotechnical and earthquake engineering is all about at UCLA, and in California. You will also be able to participate in fun competitions and other member events to expand your knowledge and understanding of geotechnical engineering.
